Kinver House

A building brought back into balance

Location: Islington, North London

Client: Freeholder

Completed: November 2025

Funding: £4.5 million - Fully funded through the Cladding Safety Scheme at zero cost to our client.

Problem Faced: Residents at Kinver House were living with ongoing uncertainty about their building’s safety, with no clear route to compliance or funding. Progress had stalled, and concerns remained unresolved until the building's freeholder reached out to us for a structured, well-managed approach to move the project forward.

Our Role: We were appointed to manage the remediation journey, acting as the central point of contact between stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and funding bodies.

Our role included:

  • Structuring and managing the remediation programme

  • Coordinating fire engineering input, design development, and contractor delivery

  • Managing the funding process under the Cladding Safety Scheme

  • Overseeing remediation works on site

  • Ensuring each stage met regulatory and funding requirements

  • Guiding the project through to safe, compliant completion

By keeping the process organised, transparent, and decisive, we ensured momentum was maintained throughout.

Outcome: The building’s facade was restored to be completely compliant and deemed safe. The completion of this project provided closure, certainty, and confidence for our client and all residents.
